01. book a meetting

Whether over coffee or on Zoom, I like to chat with my wedding clients face to face to make sure that we're the right fit! Your wedding photographer is with you for most of your wedding day, so it's important to find someone you click with.

At our meeting, I get to hear all about your plans for the big day, and we can decide which package would be the best fit, customizing if need be.

I also have a few different album styles, which you can flip through should you wish to add one to your package, or purchase one down the road!

02. let's book!

The meeting went fabulously and you're ready to book - YAY! To finalize your date on my schedule, I will send you and your fiancé a digital contract for you to both sign, as well as an invoice. The payment plan is divided into three equal payments. The first is due upon booking, the second at the halfway point between booking and the wedding, and the final is due one month before the big day.

03. engagement SESSION

Engagement sessions are a great way for you both to get comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding, as well as to get to know me better! If your package included an engagement session, then it's time to schedule! The location can be anywhere of your choosing in Windsor/Essex - I'm happy to provide suggestions, though I encourage you to use this time to check out some local parks, conservation areas, etc to see what you like, and get some great dates out of the process! Engagement sessions are one hour in length, and photos are delivered digitally in an online gallery anywhere from 1-4 weeks after the session (depending on the time of year).

pinterest is your friend!

Pinterest is a great way to brainstorm ideas and styles that you're drawn to. Feel free to send me a link to your board to get a sense of the types of photos you like!

As for what to wear, Pinterest is also great for that! You can choose 2 outfits each. I recommend one more casual, and one a bit fancier. Try to choose complimentary colours, and avoid logos if you can.

04. one month to go!

The big day is almost here! One month before the wedding, I will reach out to you for the final payment, as well as to finalize the timeline for the wedding day. To do this, I will need you to fill out my online wedding day information form, at the link below. Once you've submitted, let me know, and I will review it and put together my timeline and send it to you for approval!

05. wedding DAY!

06. delivery of your photos

Depending on how busy the season is, it can take anywhere from a 1-4 months to finish editing your photos (there are hundreds, and each one gets careful attention in post production!). Don't worry, typically it's much closer to the one month mark. I know how tough the wait is, so I try to get a sneak peek up on the blog with highlights from the day within a few weeks of the wedding.

When the photos are done, I will deliver a USB to you with digital photos in both high resolution (good for printing) and low resolution (good for posting to social media).
